Our Latin and Ballroom lessons will teach you the ten Dancesport dances.
What lessons do we offer?
During the Autumn term 2011 we are offering the following lesson types, in 7 week courses:
- Latin & Ballroom beginners
These classes are for people who have never done Latin or Ballroom dancing, or have had only one or two lessons.
We will mainly only be teaching the basic four Dancesport dances - The Waltz, The Quickstep, The Cha cha cha and The Jive.
Each lesson will have a maximum of 35 people.
- Latin & Ballroom improvers
This class is for people who have already completed one whole year of lessons (i.e. both courses), or have similar experience in Latin & Ballroom dancing.
During the Spring term 2011 we are offering the following lesson types, in 6 week courses:
- Latin & Ballroom beginners
These lessons will be the same as above - for people who have hardly done any dancing before.
- Latin & Ballroom continuing beginners
This class is for people who did the Latin & Ballroom beginners class in the Autumn term. It will run over what was learned and then improve upon it - possibly learning some of the more advanced Dancesport dances as well.
- Latin & Ballroom continuing improvers
This class will follow on directly from the improvers class from the Autumn semester.
