Welcome to the Latin, Ballroom and Salsa Society - a Gold Star Society!We are a student-led society promoting Latin American, Ballroom and Salsa dancing. Through our renowned coaches we provide lessons for all abilities, from absolute beginners right up to advanced dancers. Our courses of lessons run throughout the Autumn and Spring semesters with free practices in between. Our successful Dancesport and Salsa teams attend University competitions all over the UK, as well as performing at a wide range of events. We also have a packed social calendar with events running throughout the whole year including our annual Easter Ball, Nottingham does Strictly! event, and hosting two annual Competitions!
We welcome members of any ability, from absolute beginners to accomplished dancers and you don’t need a partner or a sports card to join! We are part of the University of Nottingham Students' Union and we are Gold Star accredited for 2017-18 as well as receiving Highly Commended for Best Society in 2016-17. |
